 Craignure Golf Club

Location on map
Craignure Golf Club built on flat to undulating machair ground is a complete contrast to the hilly Tobermory course.  Close to the ferry point of Craignure, the course was originally established in 1908. After falling into disrepair, it was re-established with a nine hole layout in 1980.  The course is now home to a welcoming club and has been lengthened with new tees. The seventh hole from the 16th tee at 435 yards is a particularly challenging long par four from the and the Isle of Mull Hotel.

 Mull Swimming Pool

The brand new Isle of Mull Swimming Pool was opened in 2008 and represents over a quarter of a century of persistent fund raising by the Community of Mull.  The Pool is  a 16m x 6.5m semi-level deck pool with a small children’s paddling pool.  More about the Pool click here

Walks
There are many forest walks around Craignure and a challenging walk up to the aerial masts. The experienced hill walker may like Dun Da Ghaoithe, Mull's second highest mountain. The views are spectacular. There is an easy coastal walk from Garmony to Fishnish. For information contact Mull Magic Tel: 01688 301213 who conduct guided walks in this area and will take you to the hidden settlements and point out the wildlife along the route.
