Mull Charters are now operating from Ulva ferry on the West Coast of Mull and provide a friendly relaxed service for up to 12 passengers. Parties of walkers can be taken to remote locations for an unforgettable experience ashore. Treshnish Isles and Staffa Trip lasting approx 5½ hours operates daily (except Saturday)

Staffa only trip lasting 2½ hours

Both trip depart from  both Fionnphort and Iona.  Trips run from May until early August. Please wear warm waterproof clothing and practical footwear. A packed lunch and/or snacks are also recommended as there are no facilities on the island. Toilets are on the boat.

This trip departs daily on the M.V. Volante from Fionnphort, on the Ross of Mull, at 10.15am and from Iona at 10.30am

We take you out north of Iona to the area around Staffa, the Treshnish Isles, Ulva and Burg - some of the most magnificent scenery on the west coast of Scotland - to look for Minke Whales, Basking Sharks, Dolphins and Porpoises.

It is a 45 minute sea journey to Staffa and Fingal's Cave which is always splendid and atmospheric with basaltic columns formed 59 million years ago. Puffins can be seen ashore in season and often guillemots, fulmars, great skuas, eider ducks, gannets, kittewakes, black-backed gulls, great northern divers and razorbills on the water. If you are lucky it is possible to see occasionally a passing whale, basking shark, porpoise, dolphin or otter. The trip lasts 3 hours and you can disembark at Fionnphort or Iona.

Experience the joys of sail power – inshore trips under sail or power in a traditional wooden open boat exploring inlets and bays, watching sea birds and seals, fishing with a hand line. Can take up to 11 passengers with schedules trips (2 -3 hours) or hire the whole boat. Operates from mid April to late September.
