This is NOT a
recommended walk for novices but suitable for experienced hill
climbers only.
Follow
the B8035 from Salen and park at
Dhiseig on the shores of Loch Na
Keal. It is safe to park on the grassy area between the road and
the shore.

This is the easiest
route up the mountain, Mull's only Munro at 3169 feet, but be
aware that this volcanic mountain is magnetic and so compasses are
unreliable and make an accurate reading impossible.
The
track goes up the hill past the farm house and follows the course
of the burn, the Abhainn Dhiseig. The path crosses the burn and
there is a very steep ascent onto the summit ridge. From here
there is a wide track up to the summit cairn and if you are lucky
you can see Ireland, the Outer Hebrides and Ben Nevis. Return the
same way. Mull
